How To Know If The Air Conditioner Is Low On Refrigerant?

Leakages in refrigerant lines are caused due to various reasons such as vibrations, worn service valves, machine stress, and mishandling the machine. These cause damages to the machine. Leaks in the refrigerant line could also be a manufacturing defect. Such leaks are not detected in the first year or the next year or two. It takes 4-7 years for such leaks to surface. More leakages are often seen in modern efficient machines compared to older models. This is because according to scientific theory thinner the object, the faster heat passes through it. The thicknesses of copper in the refrigerant pipes have been reduced; as a result they turn leaky easily.
